This definition therefore includes all existing liquids and gas. ILPEA has, within the automotive market, a wide variety of products that, despite being used in different applications within the vehicle, are essentially lines of management or transport of fluids. This family of solutions offers the following applications:
Transport of fuel and steam generated
In both internal combustion vehicles and hybrid vehicles, it is vital for the proper functioning of the thermal engine that the fuel circulates properly between the loading mouth, tank and engine.
To this end, ILPEA offers the following products:
Windshield: ILPEA offers the water piping lines that control the windshield cleaning system, more commonly known as windshield wipers.
Sensors: The same water air jetting system used to clean the windshield is currently applied in the parking assistance cameras of many vehicles. ILPEA develops water pipeline lines also for these elements.
Cooling of elements: The growing development of 100% electric vehicles (BEV) increasingly demands greater power from the batteries with which they are propelled. To get the most out of them, ILPEA designs complex battery cooling systems.
Thermal management is the biggest business opportunity that fluid management has in new electrically powered vehicles. These new systems also have the difficulty of having to be not only mechanical systems, but mechatronic systems that can be controlled and monitored electronically. That is why two large families of products are potentially opened:
Achieving a fast charge involves being able to increase the amperage of the battery charge. However, increasing the amperage also increases the resistance exerted by the materials, which heats the circuits a lot. Being able to engineer cooling systems perfectly adapted to loading and energy storage systems is therefore essential to achieve this goal. Ilpea works closely with manufacturers to adapt our cooling systems to complex battery boxes.
To maintain and extend the life of the batteries, it is important to ensure that these systems are well ventilated and that they are capable of dissipating all the gases generated inside during their use. This is vital as they prevent overheating that could eventually cause a battery fire. ILPEA works closely with manufacturers to adapt our degassing systems to complex battery boxes.

SCR filling lines
It injects small amounts of AdBlue® sprayed into the exhaust gases for subsequent catalytic reaction, thus converting the toxic NOx into nitrogen gas and water.
Wipers & headlights
Complete driving and connection solutions for water transport systems from the tank pump to the different sprinklers of the vehicle.
Brake booster vacuum
This type of system consists of vacuum ducts that connect the booster with the engine within the brake booster system, its purpose being to assist the braking of the driver.
