2022 has marked a new milestone towards a more sustainable company. We have implemented ISO 14001 standards in some of our plants and those that have not, started a plan to be certified by 2023. The aim is to take initiatives to help defend the environment like making the electricity supply of our plants 100% renewable and to reduce our carbon footprint.
Several actions have been taken, such as the implementation of solar panels in production plants and closer control over waste management suppliers. This allows us to significantly reduce emissions in the manufacture of our products and actively contribute to the fight against climate change.
Our environmental principles include the adaptation of all our activities to international regulations, the awareness of all our staff in sustainability and the conversion of our electricity supply to 100% clean energy.
In all of our locations, indicators on sustainability and waste are collected and evaluated to take measures with the aim of preserving the safety, health, efficiency and environmental environment of each of the activities that ILPEA Galvarplast carries out. These KPI’s also guarantee the correct monitoring of the environmental aspects of each ILPEA site, and that the procedures and standards established by the company and international regulations are being correctly applied.
